The Napa Valley metro is always on my list when I invite friends over for a relaxing weekend getaway. If your mind is on a travel that will surely be worth your while then Napa Valley is a destination that should be at the top of your list. Known for its calming attractions and destinations friendly for the nature lovers, my friends and I decided to go on an exciting travel to Napa Valley for a different brand of fun. Surely, as I have expected, choosing this as a nice location for our mini reunion is a wise choice. With all the things to do in Napa, we opted to go for enthralling activities that are close at heart. We love wines and as Arts lovers from the University, we chose to see where they are made, loved and appreciated. Visiting some places that we drove by was a form of reminiscing memories of my favorite uncle who is a wine aficionado and an arts enthusiast. While this boy’s Napa travel did not include my favorite uncle, Tim, the trip, altogether is nothing short of reminiscent of him. Our first stop was with the Di Rosa Preserve situated at the Carneros Highway. It was an amazing space with over a thousand art pieces of contemporary orientation. Sculptures excellently crafted can also be seen outside on display while the three buildings that it has were filled with various art forms. Well, as it turns out the owner of the art space had offered some of his money from selling his vineyards to help out artists that deserve the recognition and support of the people. Well, we were all made to enjoy the displayed pieces on our own, experiencing the amazing artistic expression put to life by the artists. It reminds me of how our arts professor taught us of the value of finding creativity from your inner self, let it loose and let art guide you in its arms. Well, we continued our trip to one of my most favorite wineries in Napa Valley. For sure, the establishment of Maisonry Napa Valley located at Washington St. is a combination of an affecting art gallery together with a lounge and of course a tasting area where you can experience wines at its finest. Finally, the boys and I found ourselves enjoying the remarkably amazing view of the Artesa Winery in Henry Road. Going there, you will never miss out on the nicely done architecture together with the mind blowing scenery and the tasting is really the best part of it all!
